Le Congrès brésilien accélère un projet de loi génocidaire sur le “paquet de la mort”, PL191, afin d’ouvrir les terres autochtones à l’exploitation minière – une activité interdite par la Constitution.Selon les dirigeants autochtones, «Cela détruira notre forêt et contaminera les animaux et les poissons, ainsi que notre sol et nos eaux sacrés.» Les peuples autochtones ont manifesté devant le STF (Cour Suprême Fédérale) de Brasilia appelant les législateurs : «Ne légalisez pas le vol de nos terres et la mort de nos enfants !»
